Whiskey cocktails are a category The Drink Calculator team has had to experiment with a bit to find ones we like. We joke that maybe we’re just not tough enough for whiskey. The Cran-Cinnamon Whiskey Sour definitely had to be tested before we could add it to our official Holiday Cocktail Series, because even with reading the recipe and looking at pretty pictures, we couldn’t envision the final concoction’s taste.

We tried several spins on this dreamboat of a holiday cocktail:

The Redhead Baker includes a cinnamon-flavored whiskey in her Cran-Cinnamon Whiskey Sour. Before finding her recipe, we only knew Fireball as a whiskey used for delicious shots that led to devastating hangovers if you weren’t careful. In this much more adult application, Fireball is elevated + adds a surprising kick to a drink we’d be proud to serve to even our most mature friends.

In the end, we all loved this one by Baker by Nature’s Cran-Cinnamon Whiskey Sour + tweaked it just a bit for our Craven + Co. Virtual Event Box cocktail kits. It’s been super popular with our clients that are moving their annual company holiday parties to be virtual + needing a festive addition to the digital program.
