the frozen flag margarita

The red, white + blue frozen layers of the Frozen Flag Margarita remind us of summers as a kid, eating Rocket Pops bought from an ice cream truck. You’ll love this Rocket Pop remix stacked with sweet strawberry, creamy coconut-lime, and cool blue curaçao.

The Frozen Flag Margarita is delicious enough to keep you cool all summer long, and the colors are literal perfection for your 4th of July celebration!

Instructions

RED LAYER

  1. Add ingredients for your RED layer to the blender + blend until smooth.

  2. Pour into a small pitcher or jar + place in the freezer while you finish your white + blue layers.

BLUE LAYER

  1. Rinse the blender clean of the red color, so that your BLUE can be vibrant.

  2. Add ingredients for your BLUE layer to the blender + blend until smooth. Pour into a separate pitcher or jar + freeze while you make the last batch.

  3. Rinse the blender so the WHITE layer is bright white.

WHITE LAYER

  1. Repeat the same steps as above for your WHITE layer.

LAYERING | The Final Step

  1. To layer, fill a clear glass tumbler starting with 1/3 RED, followed by 1/3 WHITE, and last but not least, 1/3 BLUE. Pour slowly to achieve a smooth color gradient between layers to sip immediately.

  2. Garnish with these adorable mini flag picks, fresh berries, or a cute little cocktail stir stick.

FOR INDIVIDUAL BATCHING IN ADVANCE

When time allows, we love to prepare these in advance in individual Mason Jars with lids, for guests to grab + sip. It’s the best way to achieve the sharp stripes between layers, and ensures everyone gets a perfect Frozen Flag Margarita.so that we can freeze between adding layers for sharp stripes.

  1. Simply set out your Mason Jars with lids off. Fill each one 1/3 with each color, FREEZING for 30 minutes between each added layer.

  2. Once all 3 layers have been added, replace the Mason Jar lids + continue freezing until party time!

p.s. Your friends will definitely be calling you Martha Stewart when you bring out these 4th of July stunners. ❤️🤍💙
